I don’t know about you but I have found it incredibly time consuming and annoying transferring larger files and/or videos from my phone to my lap top and from lap top to phone.
I’m also not the most computer savvy person in the world.
Snap Drop is FREE and INCREDIBLY EASY TO USE!
Follow these instructions and you will not be disappointed. There’s just one thing you need to remember; all your files have to be on the same network.
For example, you cannot be at work and then transfer a file from your IPhone or Android to your home network because you are on two networks.
The easiest way to use this program would be at your home office with any phone, I-Pad or laptop. All of them are typically on one network.
Large file? No problem. Pictures, videos, and any file type can be transferred. Within seconds you will have it on another device.
Snapdrop.net require no any additional software.
It is a great alternative to traditional file-sharing tools like email attachments, USB drives, or file-sharing services that do require the installation of software.
Here are your instructions:
Step 1: Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi
Most importantly, before you can use Snapdrop.net, you need to ensure that all the devices you want to connect are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2: Open Snapdrop.net
Once all devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, open your web browser and go to snapdrop.net.
Step 3: Share Files
To share a file, simply drag and drop it onto the Snapdrop.net homepage. The file will be uploaded to the platform and will appear as a tile on the screen.
To share the file, click on the tile and select the device you want to send the file to from the list of available devices. The file will then be sent to the selected device, and you’ll be notified once the transfer is complete.
Step 4: Receive Files
To receive a file, ensure that Snapdrop.net is open on both the sending and receiving devices.
When the sender shares a file, it will appear as a tile on the receiving device’s screen. Simply click on the tile to download the file.
Did I mention it’s free?
Happy transferring !!!
